3rd International Agrobiodiversity Congress (2025)

On May 20, 2025, the 3rd International Agrobiodiversity Congress was successfully convened in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China, co-organized by ICS-CAAS and Yunnan Agricultural University. Under the theme “Agrobiodiversity for People and Planet,” the program focused on six core topics, including the role of agrobiodiversity in promoting economic growth, addressing and mitigating climate change, and improving environmental and biodiversity health.

The congress featured more than 40 thematic presentations, 15 side events, and 16 case exhibitions, showcasing the latest global research findings, technological advances, and practical experiences in the conservation and sustainable use of agrobiodiversity. Looking ahead, the congress will continue to strengthen international exchange and cooperation in agrobiodiversity, drawing on Chinese insights and solutions to advance shared progress.
